Jonathan Barkman

Executive Director

Jonathan Barkman is a man on a mission – a mission to ensure that everyone in the world has access to lifesaving transfusions. Mr. Barkman has over 28 years of experience in the finance industry. From his initial days as a registered Equity Trader and Financial Analyst to serving as First Vice President of investments at a top Wall Street firm, and as Founder and CEO of Riverview Captial Enterprises LLC, Jonathan is a trusted board member and advisor to many private and public companies. Financial markets, relationship building and business development come naturally to Jonathan, but it’s his own personal experience with medical emergencies and lifesaving measures that makes him a visionary and an exceptional leader for the Heme Foundation.

Guy Platt

Board Member

Guy Platt is the CEO and Founder of the New York Based Digital Marketing Agency UMove Marketing. He graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Double Major in Dance, Media, Communication Arts and a Business Management Minor. Between 2012-2015 he worked as a the Marketing Director for Boston Therapeutics Inc responsible for all aspects of detailed drug marketing to physicians, nurses and organizations specializing in type 2 diabetes within the endocrinology sector. In 2015 he launched UMove Marketing and is not developing creative campaigns for a diverse set of businesses from Arts to Traditional Corporate. He continues to grow his skill set as an artist, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and project manager to this day.

Howard Pearl

Board Member

Howard Pearl is the Chief Executive Officer of Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS). He is an accomplished business leader with over 35 years of c-suite experience and is a graduate of Harvard Business School. He has provided services to organizations like Johnson & Johnson, the Ford Motor Company, and Revlon. Since joining CARS in 2015, Howard has transformed the company culture around gratitude and has led a 500% increase in top-line revenue. Howard has also enhanced CARS’ donor-support services and expanded partner revenue streams through new programs like real estate donations. Additionally, Howard is leading the charge to expand CARS’ On the Go transportation program nationally to support older adults across the country through transportation solutions and meal delivery services.

Moshe Gluzman

A New York-based business consultant specializing in international business development, education and philanthropy. He has a Master’s Degree in engineering from Tomsk Polytechnic University. He was a professor of automation and expert systems at Riga Polytechnic University in Latvia. Moshe consulted with major corporations on international business development such as Internet Edge International, New York City, (Co-Founder Ethnic Marketing and International Business Development Associate,) CSI, Inc. and Active International, New York (Media Barter and International Corporate Barter programs development.) Moshe was a Joint Venture Partner who co-founded StarTrade Fund, a social-responsible mutual fund, investing in corporations that are publicly traded in the US financial markets.

Tony Burke

Tony is the founder and CEO of Pivot Health Advisors. Most recently, Tony served as Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Innovation at Teladoc Health, the world’s leading virtual health care company. Tony was responsible for elevating Teladoc’s presence among C-suite leaders and guiding enterprise-level strategic engagements with health systems. For nearly 20 years, Tony served on the executive team of the American Hospital Association (AHA) as senior vice president and also served as president and CEO of both AHA Solutions, Inc., and AHA SmartMarket, Inc. During his tenure with the AHA, Tony formed and advised more than 250 strategic/collaborative partnerships under the AHA brand. A serial entrepreneur, Tony also created the National Healthcare Career Network launched in 2009 and has since aligned more than 320 professional associations and specialty societies to address the nation’s health care workforce shortages.


Dale Brown

Dale is CEO of MedPGx and a growth-oriented healthcare executive and seasoned board director with a proven record of advancing start-up and multi-billion-dollar organizations in the U.S. and internationally. Dale received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sociology from the University of Illinois. More recently, he completed the “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” certificate programs at both Stanford and MIT and serves as a Board Director to CureMatch and a Strategic Advisor to CureMetrix and has served on the boards of MedImpact Holdings, MedImpact International, and MedImpact Arabia, Ardon Health and PCMA. Dale has held various leadership roles at Humana, CVS Caremark, Express Scripts, Cardinal Health, and was CEO at MedImpact Healthcare Systems.
